How is The Hell House Outreach structured?

Hell House Kit - Structured

In whatever facility you choose to host your outreach (perhaps your church or an off-site building), seven different sets are created for each scene which take place in various rooms in the building. These individual vignettes are best suited by being in their own room where the sound, effects and tour group in that scene do not disturb other scenes that may be taking place simultaneously. One of the great things about this outreach is that it is amazingly versatile. You're not locked in to just one way to take advantage of your square footage. Once you get a kit and understand the overall concept, you'll be able to maximize your space in the best possible manner. In fact, in the many years in which The Hell House Outreach has been performed, we have had the drunk driving scene outside as well as other scenes through the years in large rented tents just outside the main building. Depending on the size of your scenes and the allocated space for viewing visitors, groups will typically range in size from fifteen to twenty-five people. Those groups will tour each of the scenes with a demon (or perhaps multiple demons) from the cast as their tour guides. Most of the scenes last about five minutes.

  • Scene one is a funeral of a young homosexual male who believed the born gay lie and died of AIDS.
  • Scene two is a riveting reenactment of a clinical abortion.
  • Scene three is a satanic ritual involving a human sacrifice.
  • Scene four is a drunk-driving accident where a father realizes he has just killed his own family.
  • Scene five is a teen suicide.
  • In scene six, the tour experiences the agony of the sights, sounds and smells of hell as well as Satan himself declaring that all of what the tour has seen in Hell House is his handiwork. They are rescued out of hell by heaven's angels who escort them to scene seven which is heaven.
  • In scene seven, the tour meets Jesus, sees the glory and splendor of heaven and is given the opportunity to pray the prayer of salvation.
  • Before leaving, they conclude the tour in the response room which is where the host church requests information regarding first-time or recommitment decisions made in the heaven scene as well as any personal requests for prayer needs. They are also given opportunities to talk or pray further with a prayer partner if they desire. It is an unforgettable theatrical outreach experience.
