Why do I need an Outreach Kit?

Hell House Kit - Building

Over the many years that we've been helping churches and ministries put on this outreach, we have talked with people coming from a wide variety of perspectives. Either they were thrilled to find out what we had available or they had wanted to put something like this together to reach their community but had no idea how. We've also had directors or pastors on the back end of the testimony cycle that have let us know how thankful they were that they could simply follow our plan and they didn't have to reinvent the wheel.

Whatever the motivation that has led you to this point today, please understand that:

  1. Acquiring a kit will save you many multiplied hours of writing, creating, brainstorming and administration. Those skills can still come into play on different levels, but you're beginning from a dynamic foundation rather than from scratch.
  2. You can follow our directives of how everything should be done step by step even down to printing out specific sections of the manual for coordinators of particular areas. They then go and carry out what their section details because it's all there in writing. They just adapt it to your outreach and what it calls for at your location.
  3. We occasionally have inquiries from churches that would like to order just the video of the production. We no longer resource out the video as a separate component. The reason is that in our past experience, ministries or leaders who did not purchase the entire kit were trying to cut corners by acquiring a help that they could simply watch and attempt to recreate on their own. Most of those people never saw Hell House become a reality because it is a daunting task to try and build an outreach of this magnitude from the ground up. They would watch the video and be so overwhelmed that it seemed like to high of a mountain to climb. There are so many considerations to a large-scale theatrical production like Hell House that the administrative and organizational needs can kill the vision before it ever blossoms and starts reaching people. So, the individual components of the kit come together and work best together. If you're trying to get by with doing less or spending less by not investing a minimal amount of money on the kit to really be able to do the outreach event right, you might want to consider doing something else.
