New Destiny loves to utilize drama ministry to proclaim the Good News of Jesus to our community! We believe that theatrical means are a wonderful way to reach our sight and sound culture. Just as Jesus used parables to illustrate the truths He was teaching on, drama and the performing arts do the same! The message is sacred and does not change, but our methods must be contemporary! Our theatrical productions are, and they communicate the power of Romans 6:23: sins destroys but Jesus saves!
Whether we are presenting a traditional Easter drama or our original heaven and hell production, The Fire & The Flame--our church always comes together enthusiastically to put on a top notch outreach event! The photos below are from both of these dynamic drama productions.

2026 INFORMATION
WHO
Anyone is welcome to attend and a ticket is not required for entry. Parental discretion is advised though, as there will be numerous moments in the drama that are too intense for younger children. There will be no staffed Nursery for this event. Seating is first come, first serve open seating in our sanctuary.
WHAT
The riveting heaven & hell drama, THE FIRE & THE FLAME is returning for another soul-shaking weekend! It is a live, theatrical stage production that is performed on stage in the sanctuary. This will be the 10th year our Church has presented this Outreach drama.
WHEN
The drama will be presented 2 nights, March 28th & 29th, 2026 @ 6pm.
WHERE
The event takes place at our church, New Destiny Christian Center, 12156 Grant Circle in Thornton, CO. The church is located about 1/4 mile north of Applebee's at 120 th & Grant on Grant Circle. For parking we have our regular parking lot and extensive street parking on Grant Circle right next to our facility that is very beneficial for special events. We will also have our shuttle bus picking up people that are parking on the street to drop people right at the front door.
HOW
The power of the drama will have you experiencing Jesus and the angels and satan and his demons as they battle for the souls of mankind! Witness our Cast as they come to terms with one of life's greatest questions: "Is my name in the Book of Life?" The multimedia is dynamic, the costuming is impressive and the message of the entire Production will touch your heart! Both performances are FREE! A love offering will be received. Doors open at 5:00pm. Thousands have experienced it and now you can too!
OTHER INTERESTING FACTS
Our Lead Pastor, Keenan (and Anjela) Roberts and Director Blaze (and Justine) Roberts and many members of our Leadership Team, Cast, and Crew bring many years of drama ministry experience. In fact, the entire Production happens from top to bottom with all New Destiny people. All of our Scripts are original with the majority of the Scenes being written by Pastor Keenan. He brings 4 decades of Playwrite experience to The Fire & The Flame. This is the second consecutive year that Blaze Roberts will be Directing the Production following 20 years of acting experience. Pastor Keenan, Anjela and their Teams have collaborated on presenting 41 major church productions over their years of ministry.
